Košice, December 2 (TASR) - The World AIDS Day commemorated Saturday's candle march on Hlavná Street in Košice. It was organized by the Slovak Red Cross Youth (SČK), which also wanted to express support for people infected with HIV. Three dozen young members of the SČK not only from Kosice, but also from Rožňava, Poprad, Prešov and Humenné gave people in the city center information leaflets and red ribbons - a symbol of the fight against AIDS. At the end of the march on the morgue column - Immaculate, they lit candles in the shape of ribbons.
