Rolling Stone zverejnil zoznam najlepších punkových albumov

Do výberu sa dostali nahrávky interpretov ako Ramones, The Clash, Sex Pistols, The Stooges, Nirvana, Patti Smith, Green Day, Joy Division, Blink-182 či Dead Kennedys.

BRATISLAVA 7. apríla (WebNoviny.sk) - Americký dvojtýždenník Rolling Stone zverejnil zoznam 40 najlepších punkových albumov všetkých čias. Prvé miesto obsadila americká kapela Ramones s debutovou, eponymnou štúdiovkou z apríla 1976. Za nimi nasleduje londýnska skupina The Clash s jej prvou, eponymnou nahrávkou z roku 1977. Jediný radový album anglickej kapely Sex Pistols s názvom Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols (1977) sa dostal na tretie miesto.

Do prvej desiatky redaktori magazínu Rolling Stone zaradili aj albumy The Stooges - Fun House (1970), Gang of Four - Entertainment! (1979), Wire - Pink Flag (1977), Minutemen - Double Nickels on the Dime (1984), Black Flag - Damaged (1981), X - Los Angeles (1980) a Nirvana - Nevermind (1991).
